Version 1.8.1 – Released 23 September 2020
From release 1.8.1 we support both 64 bit and 32 bit installations. While there is no significant advantage to either, if you have 64 bit Excel and wish to use FloXL then you must install the 64 bit version of Flocalc.
Users of the 64 bit version of Flocalc will lose access to certain calculations which were marked as legacy. A number of these are only compatible with the 32 bit version, and these calculations are in the main superseded by new standards and calculations. If you require access to these calculations in Flocalc and FloXL then you must install the 32 bit version, which means you must have the 32 bit version of Excel to use FloXL.
