Kelton wins major measurement contract

Kelton wins major measurement contract

Kelton has won a major multi-million dollar measurement contract with one of the leading national oil companies in the Middle East.  The new contract confirms Kelton’s status as the leading measurement consultancy in the UAE and wider Middle East region.

As part of the contract, Kelton has been commissioned to audit all classified metering systems on an annual basis and to provide studies for uncertainty calculations.  This means the formal auditing of operated custody transfer metering systems under our UKAS accreditation to ISO 17020.  The award sees Kelton working with different divisions within the operating company for the first time building on its work across the Company’s wide portfolio.

The contract foresees Kelton optimising meters for feed gas and fuel gas without the need for a formal upgrade of the systems.  Illustrating the significance of the award, over 400 meters will be audited and optimised by Kelton, which will see a team working on the project in the first year of what will be a multi-year project.

Iain Pirie, Managing Director of Kelton said:

“We are delighted to win such an important contract with one of the world’s leading energy companies.  The award of such a significant contract builds on our long-standing partnership and demonstrates market confidence in Kelton’s ability to provide best-in-class metering and measurement solutions.”

This new award shows the importance of Kelton’s sustainable model of delivery for clients and the win reinforces the Company’s growth trajectory in the Middle East region.

This award win is the result of the combined collaborative efforts of the Kelton team over many years.
